Golden K fundraising activities support annual grants to local child-focused agencies.

Our grants have totaled approximately $150,000 over the past ten years.

Helping the Children of McLean County

We are able to provide grants to local agencies that serve kids in need through donations to the Golden K Fund for Kids and our other fundraising efforts. Each year a number of agencies are invited to apply, including but not limited to those who have received awards in the past. Please contact us to be considered for a grant if you meet our criteria.

The Youth Services Committee evaluates all applications based on the merits of the request and the number of children impacted and the committee selects grantees and the amount of each award. In August or September, we invite all grantees to a Monday meeting to receive their checks and share briefly about how the grants will be used.
